Meet Your Practitioner

Brandy Cordova-Zimmerman, LAc.

Hello, I am Brandy Cordova-Zimmerman (she/her). I am a registered acupuncturist in the state of Colorado (#2686). I was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. I discovered Five-Element acupuncture over 20 years ago, when I received a medical diagnosis at the age of 19. I did not want to begin the long road of what Western medicine had in store for me. A co-worker told me about acupuncture and the natural aspect of it; and so began my acupuncture journey.

I received my Masters of Classical Five Element Acupuncture from the Institute of Taoist Education and Acupuncture in Louisville, Colorado in September 2013. I was certified as a Diplomate in Acupuncture by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) in May 2021 (#154839). My training includes adjunctive therapies such as moxibustion, gua sha, acupressure, cupping, auriculotherapy, shoni-shin, micro and nanoneedling, Bach® Flower Remedies, as well as dietary and lifestyle recommendations.

My love of learning, Nature, and living a life in balance with Nature and the natural laws that govern us, has lead me to discover a path of healing that coincides with my values and fills my heart with joy. I knew at the age of 25 that my purpose for this lifetime, was to help and be of service to others. Acupuncture has been the way to fulfill that purpose. I personally have experienced, and have also seen with others, what this amazing medicine can do. I am passionate about what it can do!

My goal with Colorado Acupuncture and Wellness, is to spread that passion, information and healing to others; I want to help them (you) find their (your) passion and assist them (you) on that journey. I also want that journey to be affordable; that is why I offer affordable prices, offer a sliding scale, have discount packages and give cash and check discounts. I want this medicine to be accessible to all.

Family at Loveland Ski Area

When I am not with clients or learning something new, I am spending time with my children and husband or creating something. I also like to spend time in Nature. During the summer months I spend my time gardening, landscaping, and camping. During the snowy months, you will find me playing at Loveland Ski Area, where I am also a PSIA/AASI certified snowboard instructor.

To learn more about me and/or treatment sessions with me, please go to the "Contact" page and send me a message.

Have a great day!
